“Lovely hostel at the side of the road. Clean and comfortable. Lovely view from the balcony. Loads of parking. Food only served up to 1430 bar open until 2000 Resturant and postal are separate so you have to ring the manager from the resturant and he comes down”

“Didn’t stay in the hotel, just had lunch. Arrived at peak time, they were slammed, apologised, told us a table would take 20 mins. Had a drink and the table was ready in 10 mins. Possibly the best menu del dia I have had at any price (and at e15.50, it was good value, too). All home made, all really good quality. Often a menu del dia can bit a bit small on the portions, but this place was generous. (I had the artichokes then the veal stew, both were fresh and excellent). Most deserts were home made, wine with the meal was OK, service was great overall - despite being clearly very busy). Given the location (beautiful view of a fairly popular tourist attraction), I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality, value and atmosphere. Highly rated, thanks chicos!”

“Not great if you don't speak Spanish, which is ENTIRELY my fault! The boss, Johnathan, it great & speaks English, but he is the only one & he isn't around much. This is NOT a criticism (well, it is, but only of myself), more a caution. The room was fine, clean, everything worked, water was hot, & it was out of the rain which was my biggest concern. I never did see the tapas in the bar at 8pm so I was glad I walked into town, but again, it's my fault for not speaking Spanish. Everyone was very friendly though, to the idiot Englishman.”

“This hostal is very good. The service was amazing and friendly, the location is right next to Mont rock with very nice nature walks, and the rock (really a cliff) has many cats and it is small and friendly. One of my favorite locations, with nice rooms, however I shared two rooms with my family, one had a big TV and one had a very small TV. The showers are nice, however could use shampoo, as we expected to be provided with it. Nice bar, great chicken, and lovely sandwiches. However in the morning they almost only serve sandwiches. They do serve it with tomato bread though, which isn't my favorite, so the next morning I asked for no tomato on my bread and they did. So very good service, good rooms, and amazing location.”
